IF YOU HAVE AC II, there should be a manual in the CD case. In one of the pages, Lucy states that ‘The Animus 1.0 has a glitch; preventing ancestors from swimming’ (I lost my manual. Remembered this by memory >_>) So actually, Altair CAN swim.


Also, I’ve never tried this but it’s what the AC wikia said;

It is interesting to note that in Desmond's memory of Altaïr's chase with Maria, Altaïr won't drown, should he accidentally fall into water. The player will lose synchronization, but in the remaining seconds you'll see Altaïr floating in the water.


I've known this for a long time, and sometime the jokes about him not knowing how to swim disturbs me little...A LITTLE. I'm not serious about it or anything, and most of the times I do find it funny :)

Point of explaining this........no idea xD
